Should of Vectored our Logo

 1.1.11 Digital images helped me understand how image processing worked better. I took photo classes in the past, but I don't recall ever talking about vector images in class. When we tried to use our hotel logo on prints, they would come out really bad when we tried scaling them up. It would only seem natural in really small prints such as business cards and shirts. But when we tried printing a big logo to hang outside the hotel, it really was a blurry mess. Now I understand why we had a guy do the big fine print for us on the cartel, and now I understand why he succeeded in creating the print and not us ourselves. Our hotel is small but in a very nice spot, learning this information now. It would be nice to recreate our logo.

Introduction and first thoughts on IS101

Intro Hello, I am Alexander and this is my first post. I liked the beginning of the class although I did not have the strongest start. I was traveling for a business trip and visited my mother who lives in Mexico. Sadly I missed our first meet in-person class due to poor planning with my cousin whom I was supposed to drive to Las Vegas, he got busy and I had to wait. Although I missed the first class I am excited about what I will learn and like many of us I believe this is our first time using Blogger, I struggled a lot with making an account but it was kind of funny when I finally figured it out. Slight Programming Rant I like programming, although I am very bad at it I've tried a few languages and so far Java is the only one that has stuck with me, maybe because it's the first language I learned.
